Updating Lists of Scientific Journals
As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s policy to standardize lists of scientific journals, the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development is making available to the national scientific community the updated lists of scientific journals classified under Categories “A” and “B,” as well as the updated lists of predatory journals and predatory publishers.
The lists of journals can be viewed on the official website of the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development
The aforementioned guidelines will take effect for articles submitted on or after July 30, 2026.
Scientific journals eligible and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under Categories “A” and “B” must not be predatory, must not be published by a predatory publisher, and must not publish conference proceedings exclusively.
Scientific journals eligible and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under Categories “A” and “B” must be free of charge and have no publication fees, with the exception of scientific journals indexed in
Web of Science (Category A) or Scopus (Category B)
